With the help of a third party application from the Google Play store, you should be able to record the screen on your Sony Xperia XA2. Just search for "record screen" or "screen record" and there should a few applications to choose from.
Previously there was a inbuilt feature that you could access via the power menu, but this has been removed in our newer models, but it should work just fine with a downloaded application.
