"Still ejecting SD card" message

Latest bug with my 3 month old XA1 is becoming a huge pain in the butt.

At random times, at least 3-4 times per day in the past 7 days, the message "Still ejecting SD card" will randomly appear (see screen shot), during which time all apps/files moved to the SD card are unusable. The only fix is to reboot the phone. Of course this happens at inopportune times.

Anyone else having this issue?

I will do [another] reset this weekend but I'm about done with this phone, between this and the Wi-Fi randomly dropping out.

@Hitech_redneck

Do you have another Sd card that you can test your phone with?

Yeah, sorry, forgot to mention that. I did try another one. I copied the data from my existing card to a different one of the same size and the issue persists.

@uliwooly

I'd rather just do a factory reset (erase SD card) vs use the XC. Is there any benefit in using the XC over a regular factory reset ?

FYI,

I ended up doing a factory reset and all is fine now. Not sure what caused the "still ejecting" error - maybe a corrupt file saved to SD? Bad app? OS bug?  Who knows but doing a reset fixed it... Now, if doing a reset would fix the wi-fi randomly dropping off... ugh
