What are you trying to do? Are you seeing any error messages? What sort of computer operating system are you using (Apple Mac OS X, Linux-based or Microsoft Windows)?

I am using sony xperia xa1 plus., nougat. I am using sandisk 64gb pendrive with otg. But it is not showing in apo like album, file commander, or mx player, but in my friend mobile(sony xperia z) in these app usb is showing

What file structure is used on the drive?

FAT32, NTFS, EXFAT?

Is it possible to format the OTG drive with your smartphone?

I've never used OTG as I always have the very biggest storage cards I can find... But if there's an option to format it on your smartphone, try that and see how you go.

Obviously save any files on the OTG drive elsewhere first though...

I have a feeling that Fat32 is supported for external USB drives and EXFAT is only supported on the SD card, but I'll have a check later when I've got some USB drives.

In the meantime, can you check your unit with a usb drive formatted in fat32.
