Power button does not work

saludos. hace unos dias el boton de encendido de mi sony xperia xa1 ha dejado de funcionar, por lo que no puedo desbloquear la pantalla ni encenderlo ni apagarlo. la pantalla la desbloqueo ahora con el boton de la camara y no lo apago nunca para no tener que volver que encenderlo. el problema es que estoy temiendo que se me apague y no sé como podría volver a encenderlo. algun truco o consejo para ello? gracias de antemano

Greetings. a few days ago the power button of my sony xperia xa1 has stopped working, so I can not unlock the screen or turn it on or off. I unlock the screen now with the button on the camera and I never turn it off so I do not have to go back to turn it on. the problem is that I am afraid that it will turn off and I do not know how I could turn it on again. Hi @jetboy, I am sorry to hear about this.

Since there is no adjustable setting available in the phone for the power key I would suggest that you try to perform a software repair on your phone using Xperia Companion. Please note though that a software repair will erase all personal data for the phone, so make sure to make a backup of your personal data before the repair.

If the software repair does not manage to make the power key to work as intended I would suggest that you contact your local support team to have the phone sent in to an authorized service center to be examined and possibly repaired.  If you have any questions regarding the service, such as routines, warranty and consumer laws, these type of questions are best answered by your Local support team as well, as they vary between markets.
