My Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra received on Monday has decided I'm obviously not good enough as it has locked me out. Why? I have no idea but the how is by demanding the PIN to SIM 2 when only the one SIM is fitted. Of course as I'm locked out, I have to use Xperia Companion's Software Repair and sit there with my thumb slowly but surely going numb as I wait to see if the Software Repair is going to play ball or not as it doesn't always.
I have changed nothing on the phone that might be causing this and I have Googled this half to death and back but seem to be the only one with this particular problem. Does anyone have any ideas before I throw this phone and the Xperia Z with the ailing battery that this phone was to replace and cut my losses and go back to a ten year old Nokia?
Yesterday I went through the Software Repair song and dance routine for the second time only for the phone to repeat its unreasonable demands just a half an hour later so that fix was only a temporary one. I'm actually after a more permanent fix and one that doesn't involve throwing the thing in the bin.
@mistersoft perhaps you have your only SIM card inserted in the slot marked as SIM2? have you tried using your SIM card's PIN?
