Panoramic Sweep

I have a Xperia XA2 which I just purchased

I am trying to take a Horizontal Panortamic sweep, but the mobile seems only to want to take a vertical sweep

Any ideas on how i can solve this?

if you are holding the phone on portrait you can take the panoramic picture horizontally, if you rotate 90 degrees, you can take it vertically

When i flip the phone horizonatally it doesn't flip

That's correct, older Xperia models had the option to select which direction you wanted to take the panoramic picture, left right up or down, but it was a mess, it used to stop randomly, that's back with the Xperia Arc Xperia S. 

Make sure to send your feedback to Sony >>> Local support I'll escalate this.

I just have to get used to taking photos that way...

But the first tests make the images looks like they were taking by a Fish Eye lens

I used to have a Xperia Z1 and I had no problems with the Panorama Horizontal setting
