New Android software update glitches

Hi there I have just recently updated the Android software for my Sony XA ultra and my phone now since updating keeps freezing or glitching. It hasn't had this problem before. I did a virus and malware scan and both have picked up no issues. Please could you help fix the problem.

Try a software repair through xperia pc companion .. 

backup your apps, msg, contacts, then reset the phone. now connect with xperia companion and try a software repair .
