Mobile Data dropout

I purchased my XA locked to Vodafone and paid to get it unlocked, and I use it on Optus 

The mobile data connection is unreliable. It disconnects regularly. Sometimes I can get it back by cycling Mobile Data or Aeroplane mode, but it usually doesn't last long. A few times I reboot the phone and it worked better for a while but one day after 3 reboots in a row, I had to give up. 

I've tried every APN used by Optus. It's so bad I had to setup my old phone as a Hot-spot and stay within range. 

Also, Bluetooth randomly disconnects my headset, even during a call. Sometimes it will reconnect immediately. This happens on 2 different brand units I have.

I came to this forum via Support > Contact Us, so I posted here expecting is get some support from Sony. Was I mistaken? 

I guess this is Sony's way of deflecting some first line support issues to the 'crowd'.
