Memory card cover won’t lock

I am trying to install a memory card. When I insert it and the SIM tray, the cover will not lock securely on one end. It locks fine without the memory card, and the card is recognized by the phone if I hold the cover on, but if I let go it doesn’t fully close and the card is not recognized.

Hi @Palerether, welcome to our forum and that sounds very strange!

Do you have another SD card that you can try and mount in the device? That way we can see if the SD card is the culprit or not, as I have not heard about this before.

I was thinking the same thing, but haven’t been able to get one, thanks to the deep freeze. I will keep you posted when I can try this
