Hi everyone.
I recently acquired an Xperia XA2, and I've noticed that I have quite significant hiss when listening at low volumes to music or youtube videos when using my IEM headphones. I was wondering if I had a defective units, or if it's just my IEM that have too low impedence for the headphone amp used in the XA2.
Thank you for your answers.
Have absolutely the same issue, but not in all my headphones.
Btw, I noticed the same issue even without headphones! Just low sound via main speaker and the same noise
turn on ClearAudio+
It was turned on always. And it is the first thing I tried to play with - no difference wether it is on/off.
Same for me. Not much difference between clear audio on or off. I'm pretty sure it's just my headphones that are too sensitive for the headphone amp they used. Its not a dealbreaker, but I was surprised at first!
Same problem. Philips SHE3590. I didn't have this issue on my old Zenfone 5 and my PC. This is very annoying.
Same here. Glad to know it's not just me (though I noticed there's no hiss with the FM radio so I figured it wasn't a defect)!
Using Q-Jays and didn't have this issue with the XA. Hopefully this is something they can fix with an update, but I highly doubt it.
Has anyone had any luck reducing hiss with an impedance jack?
