From what I read thats a method used on older batteries. The batteries used in most smartphones today are stressed upon when charging up to 100 percent. My best guess is to charge it overnight once. Thats up to you of course. I always charge mine up to 80 or 85 regular to increase battery lifespan. Sometimes I accidentally charge it overnight from falling asleep. Hope I helped.
