Cannot turn WiFi notifications off.

I have turned network notification to off in my WiFi settings but I still get a notification every time I am near a connection. This is driving me crazy! Any suggestions?

Here's a crazy idea, @BeeDee - try turning Wi-Fi off (which will save you a little bit of battery, anyway).

No application or accessory. It's the phone that notifies me when it is not supposed to. I really don't want to turn WiFi off as I move around a lot. This would be an inconvenient  work around as opposed to a fix.

You're quoted half of my signature bud... Have a look at any post I've made - it's shown below all of them because many users here don't post in English and/or post very little information relating to their problem, which makes it hard for me to help them (I do agree it's slightly confusing with these particular forums - I am a member of other forums running on the same software, and they use slightly different text for the signature).

As for my suggestion, it was always intended to be a work-around... But it (should) solve your problem and save you a little bit of battery.
