I have recently updated my Sony Xperia XA Ultra Dual Sim to Android 7.0 Nougat. I have noticed that I am unable to connect to LTE or even 4G. I made sure that I am on a 4G/LTE site and my Sim is 4G/LTE compatible. Can you help me fix this?
Go to Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Preferred network type -> set to "LTE (preferred)/WCDMA/GSM"
If it's already set to this option, set to a different option and then back to LTE option.
i just updated my phone to android 7 but the lte capability of my device was removed. my sim is already lte capable.
My xperia XA ultra phone cannot use 4G LTE signal after the upgrade to nougat. I only can use 3G signal. My hotspot tethering is also undetected by other devices. My problem is not solve using your trick explained above. Please fix this issues.
I have the same problem. SONY please give a solution to this.
Before Nougat, Im playing online with 2 bars of LTE and im not having any problems with XPERIA XA ULTRA.
After upgrading to Nougat, I changed to 3G because I cant be contact in LTE, but switching back to LTE/4G, it cant be selected anymore, I mean its there but it doesnt switch to 4G.
Does SONY even read this?
I have a problem with my LTE signal after i have upgraded my phone to android 7... what will i do...? Please help
I am also experiencing same problem(unable to go back to 4g after switching to 3g), Please fix this asap thanks.
Transfer your sim to the other sim slat and refresh your phone. Try to select LTE.
Same problem for me. I have tried changing the settings back and forth in
Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Preferred network type ->
but it never connects to LTE even if I have selected LTE as preferred.
I have also done a factory reset, but problem remains. The problem is serious since at my home LTE is the only available network in the air, i.e. I can not call and no one can call me when I'm at home.... I'm, not very impressed...
