Cannot charging while phone on

My phone cannot charging while phone in. I have to turn off the phone when i want to charge the phone. Help me fix the problem:-(

Hi @Mcd11, welcome to our forum and I'm sorry to hear about this.

That sounds very strange, does the battery icon change at all when the device is powered on and you have the charging cable connected? It could be that the device is charging but something is using so much power in the device and therefor it's discharging faster than it's charging.

I would recommend that you start with restarting your device in safe mode and see if you are able to charge the device when it's powered on and downloaded applications aren't loaded, so we can make sure that none of them are the cause of this.
