I just bought a new DS4 controller yesterday thinking that it can work perfectly with my XA Dual. No it's not. It can paired and connected but then no input recognized. I tried both the bluetooth and USB OTG cable with no result. It can connect but nothing more.
I tried on my friend's Xperia Z phone and it works great. Did Sony not supported the use of DS4 controller on this phone or is it a known bug? And any way to fix it yet?
Hi @trangplt,
I just checked in an Xperia XA with the latest available software and the feature for pairing a Dualshock 4 is not available.
Hi all,
Simply, connected my DS4 controller to my XA Ultra and it is detected. No input detected though in emulators or anything else. Worked fine before, this makes Remote play impossible. Does anyone know if it will work with an OTG cable?
When I say it worked fine before, I meant on my previous phone, the Xperia Z3.
That was back in August, I was hoping such a trivial thing would have been resolved somehow by now. I was hoping for an update on it.
Hi @Ramdumb, @Willisgod, @Aidylucas and @KirkWhetton, as I mentioned a bit earlier I am afraid that this feature is not currently available for Xperia XA.
However, rest assured that I'll forward this internally as user feedback on your behalf!
