Bluetooth won't transfer files

Help !!!!!

We have 2 Xperia phones an XA and an E5, we have set both phones up for Bluetooth exactly as instructed, both phones are paired with other devices but both phones are unable to send or recieve files to or from any other devices, what could be the problem.

Never had this problem with any other phones or devices in the past.

Could you let me know what happens when you attempt to send a file from and to these devices? Is any error message displayed, are other device unable to find these when scanning for available Bluetooth devices?
