Do you see this information in Settings > Battery and it says "5 hour remaining" here? This is only an estimate and is based on how much you have used the device. If you for example, put the device on a table and you go to bed it will say that you have a lot of hours remaining when you wake up, as the device has not been in use, since you have been sleeping.
