Don't know if anyone asked about this or not. If it's a dup, my appologies.
After is did the upgrade to Oreo, I notice that a second press of the home button brings up this screen and the keyboard.
Is this an Oreo feature or is it a Sony thing? Either way, how do I disable it?

This must be a feature in Nova Launcher, if you open its settings and tap on "Gestures and input" you'll find an action bound to the home button. On Xperia Home launcher, this functionality does not exist.
Assuming that the home button is the circle (excuse my ignorance), I just can say that a double tap on it doesn’t do anything in my XA1, but a long press on it casts Google Assistant, which can be deactivated (explained how to do somewhere in this forum). I get that screen swiping down in home screen, which cannot be deactivated, as far as I know.
If I press and hold the home button, it will start google assistant eventually. A quick press and hold brings up this screen.
Forgot to mention that I am on Nova Launcher. Don't know if that affects anything.

Thank you very much.
It turns out that it is a setting in Nova launcher, as stated under "Gestures and input".
