"Battery care" if I charge only once every two days

Is it possible to enable "battery care" function if you charge your smartphone only every two days?

Or does it work if you charge it daily?

And another question.. What is the timeframe in which I have to charge my phone in recharge so that "battery care" works?

Yes it works, since I have it (2016) I have always loaded it every two days, and with Marshmallow and Nougat it almost never detected it, but since the update to Oreo every time I charge it, battery care is activated.
