Oreo update: Downloaded apps no longer adding to the home screen

@h0m39url15I think this options has been removed, however in xperia home settings (tap longer on the screen and tap the cogwheel at the bottom), you should be able to quick add icons to home screen by holding and dragging from the application menu.

Hopefully I will be able confirm soon if the option was removed.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough. I can add them to the home screen that way. It's when I download new apps from play store - they don't automatically add to the home screen like they used to.

That option was available in Play Store settings. No longer in Oreo... it was supposed to be on the home screen settings...

@h0m39url15 got feedback and the option was removed from google play store settings.

It seems it was removed from both Google play settings & home screen settings. Going to look more online.
