Micro sd card

I recently bought an xperia x. I have just purchased a 64gb micro sd card. I've fitted it into my phone but it doesn't show up. The transfer files from internal memory to sd card option in the settings is greyed out. What do I need to do to get it to show as an additional memory??

It might be, but if you do get the chance, format it in your computer and check it.

Success. Swapped for a new sd card. Put it in the phone and when I switched on a drop down box told me to set up memory card. Thanks for the assistance today
