Does it only shows 4G symbol in status bar even its connection is LTE in 8.0 ?

I flashed oreo TW firmware to my x performance dual, but found it only shows 4G in status bar, In 7.0,  it shows LTE in status bar, and there is no LTE option in preferred network type in 8.0, but i checked phone info, its connection type is LTE.

I don't quite understand the problem, 4G = LTE, some carrier networks call H+ 4G but that's not accurate, do elaborate.

The left one is in 8.0, right one is 7.0. In 7.0 it will show LTE in status bar, but it shows 4G in 8.0. I just wonder why it will change to 4G in 8.0 and i dont have a option to choose LTE in network setting

It's the same, just different firmware different country different symbol.

Anytime
