Contacts disappear

I have had the phone for over a year and only recently it has started to delete 2 contacts. And only these 2, i have had to pin the conversations to the top of my messages just so i don't lose the numbers. 

I am saving the same number at least 3 to 5 x a day. 

I have actually given up now. There are no filters on, i have gone through my apps that interfere with my storage and contents/contacts. 

This only began about 2 weeks ago. 

Can anyone help?

What if you go to contacts and manually add the contact?

Ive done that. And do so several times a day.

what if you add a different contact, does it stay or is it erased

No other or new contact details stay put it is just the 2 numbers that i have to keep inputting. 

This has to be said this is the most bizarre thing I have ever seen.

That's rather odd, what if you add this numbers on another contact, just to see if they disappear

It does unsave new contacts. 

The numbers remain but the names are gone.
