Bravia XR-55A84L starting problems

Had the Tv for 4 months I wanted it to wake up looking at the last channel of normal TV viewed, however it insists on waking up in "Home Screen" mode which my wife can't handle and it annoys me a lot. I have set the power on setting to last used, but it continues to wake up in Home mode. Any suggestions as to how I can get it to do what I want.

Hey there,

 

Try to disconnect any externals from the TV, and disconnect the TV from the mains and leave it for like 2 minutes and check again.
