I experience that both my Xperia X compacts (one personal and one business) drains battery faster since last android upgrade 34.3.A.0.244.
Before I used to have >50% battery at the end of day (charged during night) but now I and on much lower figures and still same usage patterns.
Anyone more having same/similar experience?

Experiencing something very similar, mine doesn't even make it through the night while idling..
Are we the only two ahving this problem - perhpas it is some app we both are using or do you have a ASUS wifi router at home that might be the battery eater?

1st I would try factory restore or use the Xperia Companion repair tool.
It's sometimes recommended after upgrading frimware to make a factory reset in case on anomalies.
I am facing the same issue. It started with the September update and showed up after every update since. After 2 or 3 reboots it used to be fine, but recently the problem became persistent. Power consumtion is more than twice as hight as usual.
So far I could not find out what is consuming the energy. In 3 different locations (system information and 2 battery apps) different / changing apps are the top consumers. Probably its always the current foreground app. CPU load is low, activating Stamina or flight mode does not help.
Sony advised to run a factory reset - the usual reaction of help desks if they have no answer at all.
To recommend a factoring reset after Sony has decided to launch an Android upgrade (or is that decided by Google, i guess sony wants to verify) is totally unacceptable. I can not see any app going crazy in settings->battery. Is this The New issue that sony Will not admit, like with The Light sensor used for autoanswer on Z1 and z3 compacts and several other z modells?
Shane up and fix this Sony.

Now using 34.3.A.0.244 for 3 or 4 weeks. No noticable difference in battery drain.
If you do not experience any difference (and assume that not everyone have the problem) indicates that some app(s) go bad after latest upgrade. App that lennertdaniels and me (in both my Xperia X compatcs) uses but not you paraben.
Let's see if we can get more experiences and see to to go forward.'

This somewhat strange "procedure" helped me a couple of times already:
- Reboot the phone
- when the lock screen appears, wait some more minutes
- when you are required to enter unlock your SIM, also wait a while
- Now the home screen appears. In 3 out of 4 cases now the Xperia Home app crashes. Confirm restart of the app. I never get a chance to send a crash report, maybe it is still to early in the startup process.
Afer some more minutes the phone is fine. When I reboot "in haste" I usually end up with the battery problem.
This strange behavious might appliy to my phone only, and it might be a bit bold to blame the Xperia Home app, but who knows ...
This morning I updated to build 34.3.A.0.252.
I have read somewhere on a forum discussion about this release that the previous build (.244) had a battery drain problem caused bij Google. Perhaps this is fixed in .252.
