Updated my Xperia X Compact to Oreo and when I go to switch my data off I get a message
'You have to change network mode to enable mobile data traffic. Do you want to change network mode'
Clicking No keeps my Data on.
Clicking Yes takes me to the Mobile Network settings where I saw my preferred network defaults to 2G only. I have to manually select 3G which will let me turn my data off?
I looked in Network Operators and have chosen Automatic.
The phone has been rebooted since.
Any suggestions? Used to be so easy to toggle the data on and off if and when I needed it. This had become a massive pain!!
