Ok, after downloading the pdf's from an sd card, the sony reader now reads them, i was downloding the pdf from the dropbox app earlier, not sure why it differenciates them. Finally the resolution of the pdf are much worse than on other tablets, maybe it's the aspect ratio of the screen? Not sure.
If anyone has looked at a pdf magazine on their tablet, can you confirm if text was readable without zooming!
