Wrong colors on my Vaio VGN-A197VP

Hello
I have this brand new vaio VGN-A197VP with the terrific Black LCD-technology.
Yet I have problems with the correct display of colors.
For instance, if I choose #FFCC00 with should be a warm yellow, I keep on getting an orange/red.

I tried to coorect things with the Adobe Gamma-Pgm (it was already installed on my new notebook). But it didn't work. No changes at all.

Then I tried to set up colors directly on the LCD. But there is only a button for brightness.

Can anyone help me please I'm completely clueless about the solution.

This could be an effect of the X-Black screen not displaying correctly. If you have a CRT monitor plug it in to the laptop and check the colour that you get.
