Worth upgrading?

Hello again Vaio owners,

I have a question about upgrading Windows to Windows Vista Ultimate or atleast to a 64-bit edition.
Is it worth upgrading? I know a lot of hardware in the Vaio AR31M is 64-bit compilant.. so would it make my system better? Would I see a difference in performance?
Or would it just make my system a beta system (beta drivers for everything etc).
