I have a very sexy new notepad that I am not able to go wireless yet
I also have a bt voyager 2100 wireless router. also have desktop
I can surf using ethernet cable on laptop, desktop is conected to the router via cable supplied. Both systems are using xp pro sp2
I have followed instructions to the letter, but laptop not able to see wireless connection
am desperate to be wireless - can someone help

There's a lot of things it could be.......have you disabled Windows Firewall? I would do so, as long as you replace it with another firewall. Your best way to get things set up is to disable all the security measures on the router (again as long as you have a firewall) and turn on SSID broadcast. With any luck Windows should pick it up automatically and you can go from there.
