Vaio upgrade not working

When I go to the Vaio upgrade page I cannot click on auto upgrade selection box. Boxes are solid blue and I cant place a tick in the box to start upgrade. Windows vista. No help from esupport. Can anyone help

Not sure of the answer on this one!

Are you using the original Sony OEM preinstalled version of Vista?
Are all your previous Updates still held in C:\Updates or have you deleted this folder?

Thanks for responding,I wish esupport would. I've had this VGNTZ11 for about 6 weeks now and havent yet managed to carry out an update. The update folder is present but empty. I am using the windows Vista that came preloaded and before anything else was loaded I tried to do an update but it seems unless I can check the boxes on the update page the update wont start.

Only thing not working on the system that I can find is smartlink fails on boot up.
