Dear All,
On my VGN-S5XP the vaio update software does not work...
when connected thru WiFi to the internet, it says "No connection to the internet" (??) When connected to internet thru LAN it says "Could not connect to server".
Any idea?
The internet connection has no restriction toward outside...

1. Go to help and support
2. Click on support button
3. Click on the Support option: "VAIO link"
4. Right here you should get the message that you are currently not connected to the internet. And that you should click HERE to set up one....Click on the text HERE
Network wizard starts up....NOW if you have a WIRELESS connection DO NOT pick "view wireless networks in range". Just click on next and setup your network connection depending on your connnection. Just follow the procedures.
When you are finshed VAIO UPDATE WILL WORK AGAIN, also VAIO LINK option in help and support
Tomraffe just read the instructions again.....you skipped step 2...next to the HISTORY button there is a SUPPORT button all of this at the top of you screen. Just follow the instructions and read them carefully....
2. Click on support button

I do not get the option to "click here to create a connection".
All I get is
"To view this page, you must be connected to the Internet. To connect to the Internet now, click Connect."
When I click connect I get the new connection wizard, which isnt what I want is it?
yep i think that is what you want...you have to set up your internet connection.
That didn't worked for me, i don't have anything saying Vaio Link!!!! What can i do then?! It's giving me always the server could not be acessed!!!
What do you have....that would be nice to know to help
