Vaio screen funny sound

Hi everyone,

I am a proud owner of a vaio fe11s for over a year now and just recently a slightly annoying hissing sound has started comim=ng out of the screen.

It does not occur everytime i switch the laptop on, and if i move the screen it stops for a while but then it starts again.

It is a little bit annoying because i cannot work in absolute silence with this hissing sound...

can anyone help?

The hissing sound is the inverter.

I don't know if it's on it's way out, but if you're under warranty you could ask VAIO-Link.
