update icon disappeared

I must have deleted the vaio update button from my start menu by mistake.
Can someone tell me how to restore it?

Hi ztueni,

does the icon reappear if you restart your vaio..?

If not go to Start > All Programs > Vaio Update Options..

A Vaio Update options window should appear, then select 'Show Icon in Notification Area in the Task Bar' if this option is greyed out move the slider, next to the 'Welcome to Vaio Update' text, to the bottom. Now the options should be available..


Click OK and the icon should appear..
