Hi. I bought a PCG-FX804 about 15 months ago. All was fine for a few months until I lost the ability to view DVD's. I was advised, by the Vaio help line to perform a full recovery using the discs provided with the machine. This seemed to work for a short while. I could still play audio cds but they sometimes sounded odd whilst playing them back. Oddly though, if I copied the cd to the hard drive & then played them back they sounded fine. Recently however I am again unable to view dvds. I've just cleaned the lens with a Sony lens cleaning disc.
Help.
