sonicstage 3.1 MP3 CD burning

AAARGH Sony is really a pain sometimes. I was eagerly waiting for Sonicstage 3.1, because rumor said that it would be able to create MP3 CD's.

As all my songs are in the ATRAC format, I thought that it would be possible to burn directly an MP3 cd from my ATRAC songs --> but IT DOESN'T WORK

It's possible to create an Audio CD from atrac, but not MP3.

Problem is that I have a CD Car Player, from Sony that supports MP3, but strange enough not atrac.

Is there someone who knows a way to convert ATRAC to MP3 ? Because I don't want to rip my CD's once again.

I think there's a program someone created for minidiscs that lets you get your music out of the ATRAC format, I'll have a look see if i can find the address at some point, I don't know about SonicStage, I use mp3 for my VP and there is an mp3 CD option available. I don't know about ATRAC, sorry.
