screen gone?

I have a Clie peg-nx7ov/e

You can hardly see the os and, down the right hand side is just black and white vertical lines. Even when its switched off, you can still just make out the verical lines.

Is it worth getting repaired, what sort of cost is a new screen?

Sounds as if the screen is dying. See if Sony can look at it for you - sorry I don't know how much its going to cost either!
