Reloading Supplied Software after System Rebuild

Hi

My Vaio laptop was supplied with the hard disk having two partitions. I reformatted the disk to a single partition after a year or two use and now find I can't reload the supplied software [Adobe Premiere and Elements]. Is this a lost cause or is it somehow possible to get this software installed from the original Sony supplied CD.

Many thanks for any help

Terry

Did you make recovery discs?

Not sure whether they are on the disc but its worth a try.

Hi rockintes

welcome to Club vaio..

As you received Sony Recovery Discs with your Vaio, according to the guide here you can install individual applications..

Installation of Sony Vaio applications, documentation and recovery.

1. Please insert your Vaio recovery disc. Wait a few seconds.
2. You will have this window. Click Yes.

3. You can now select the application you need to reinstall.
4. Click it and click install button. Do not use your Vaio while processing.

Did you use the Sony supplied recovery disc's to restore your Vaio after you reformatted the partitions..?
