Recovery CD

Greetins to All,

I bought a sony vaio model VGN BX197XP. The guy a bought from formated the whole thing and installed Win XP. what can i do to bring back all the vaio original setting and drivers. I have looked and found some but still missing some. i was told that it would be easier to get the recovery cd from sony. any ideas.......

welcome to Club vaio..

Hopefully the hidden recovery partition has not been deleted..

Start your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press F10 repeatedly this normally would start the recovery process..

If that does not work then you will have to contact Vaio-Link to purchase a new set of recovery DVD's..:smileysad:

How much do those DVDs cost what number can I call to get someone on the phone or email, Im in the USA........
