RC202 Wireless Mouse not working

Hi,

My RC202 desktop is six weeks aold and the wireless mouse has just stopped working. All drivers are present and correct and the touchpad on the wireless keyboard is working fine.

Anyone had similar problems or advise?

Hi Hugee and welcome to Club Vaio.

I know this sounds silly and I am sure you have considered it but you have tried changing the batteries in the mouse? I apologise if you have tried this but you would be surprised how many people expect thew batteries to go on for ever - they seldom last 4/6 weeks.

I also presume you have tried re-pairing the mouse with the RF receiver by pressing the 'connect' button on both.

What HID Devices are shown in Device Manager for keyboard and mouse? From memory I think you should have 3 devices installed to cover both mouse and keyboard.

If all else fails. contact Sony support for a replacement.

Thanks for this - appreciated. I'll investigate and invest in brand new batteries rather than the "they work in a remote" ones I swapped....
