"An error occurred while transfer.Could not retrieve the device information"

Well the list of problems with my VP just grows and grows, that is what it said when i tried to tranfer mp3 files to my VP does this mean anything to anybody because i have not got a clue what his means. Oh and i have tried adding files that i have alreday present on the VP but this message comes up again after failing to transfer.
Any help would be appreciated, because i am clueless to what has went wrong this time anfdif anyone knows how to fix it please post because i have number of problems with this device and have overcome them.. don't let this one be any different.

I had the same message. I idownloaded all the upgrades. however when I uninstalled Musicmatch software that came with the Tevion Jukebox it worked fine.

So it was probably a software conflict. Or make windows media player or iTunes your default your default music player. worth a go.
