According to the specs there are no video outputs so unfortunately you can't connect a projector.

you should be able to

Well the trouble is my projector says the conection to my computer has to be via a D-sub to D-sub RGB cable and my computer does not have one.

You could get a USB TV card which has video outputs?

Right Click desktop and go to settings with the projector plug into the USB then click the screen 1 to assign to both the LCD and the projector. What projector do you have?
