Possible unlock?

I dont understand why the box in my laptop says 1.8Ghz processor and my computer says that it is 2 Ghz....???

And why is the processor called T7100 on the box but the pc says it is T7300?

Is there a way if unlocking the extra power? As if the computer specs are right (ie 2Ghz and T7300) but for the english release they have just manually slowed the processor to resemble the running speed of a 1.8....? Is this possible?

Get yourself a Sidebar Gadget that shows the CPU Utilisation in real time for both Cores.

At the top of the sidebar, click on the + to Add Gadgets.
At the Gadget Gallery Screen click on 'Get More Gadgets Online'
At the Personalise Vista Sidebar Screen click on 'Tools and Utilities'
In the Searchbar at the top type in -

CPU Utilization


Download the one with two little graphs side-by-side.

This will show the activity level of each Core in real time - in GHz
