Hey !
Probably someone has had or has a similar problem. I bought my PCV-RXM22(CE) just about 1.5 years ago (03/12/2003), as two month ago the first problems occured:
trying to boot my computer I sometimes got an BIOS error (1 x long beep, 2 x short beeps, followed by conitinously short beeps). After several attempts the PC was booting without any problems, during operation mode the complete hardware is complete stable, no system breakdowns.
I didn't install any further unnecessary components, nor I added any new hardware.
But now the situation has changed: by trying to boot several times, mostly I get the above described BIOS error (Award Modular BIOS v6.0, BIOS ID: 12/05/2002-SiS645-P4S533VL). Sometimes I get lucky and I get into BIOS, tellling me CPU frequency failed during last boot sequence, so I reconfigured bios to default mode. Thereafter the systems runs stable --- until trying to reboot next time... same problem. Unfortunately warranaty just ran out, I already changed Graphic card, and DDRam, checked the battery ---- without any success...
Probably someone has had or has a similar problem or an idea ... I would appreciate your answer. Best regards,
Marc

From what I have been reading you need to check your graphics card is well seated into the AGP slot.
Also run a memory test.
Hey !
Already changed my Graphics card,
as I changed my DDRam, unfortunately I had no success.

Check your CPU - make sure the heatsink and fan are well placed and working.
