No Sound

Have recently bought a smart looking PCV - W1/G.
It has worked well up to now, but all the sound has now stopped - even Windows noises.
I have checked out the volume controls, which are set to on.
Can someone please tell me where else can I check?

Check the system tray for a volume control.
In there check if there are any mutes on.

you can also do what kee-lo said through the control pannel/sound and devices
