Keyboard keys not functioning:FE31M

Hello,

I have purchased sony vaio FE31M notebook last year same month. I am facing a problem that some of the keys (a, s, k,., and arrows up down) have stopped functioning suddenly and rest others a working.

My usage of vaio is not so much for typing and its quite strange for me to see this behaviour with a product like sony.

Can anyone please help/suggest me in this regard?

As your Vaio is nearly or just out of guarantee I think it would be best to open a case with Vaio-Link ..

Can U tell me please what do you mean by saying opening a case with vaio link ? Do I need to get the keys repaired or its a system problem or virus? Suddenly five-six stopped functioning so I put forward my request in this forum.

I suggested that you contact Vaio-Link and inform them of the problem because your Vaio is either nearly or just out of warranty.

Then if it's something more serious than a software issue, hopefully your warranty will cover the repair..
