Jumpy cursor when typing....dang it. VGN-FS415S

My cursor jumps around erratically whilst typing mid sentence. Any clues apart from ghosts having a laugh.

Hi Owen,

welcome to Club Vaio..

Go to Start > Control panel > Hardware and Sound > Mouse..

A mouse properties window should open..

Select the Tapping tab and check that tap off when typing is selected..

I noticed this once. Took me a while, but its your wrists knocking the touch pad! try typing with the bases of your wrists further apart, or buy a keyboard if you do a lot of typing.
