HD controler VAIO PCG-K115S

Hello, i must change my VAIO PCG-K115S internal HD, but i dont know the type of controler (udma 100, ultra ata ???). Can i install an HD 80 Go 2,5p ATA100 / Interface : ATA-6 : 7200 tr/mn ?

Hi disens,

If you download Everest Home Edition this will give you the information you are looking for - under Summary > Storage > IDE Controller.

Ahhhh, sorry I didn’t appreciate that your hard drive was no longer functioning. My guess is that it will be Ultra ATA controller, but maybe someone with that model can help further.
