FN SHORTCUT KEY THING

hmm hi guys i have a VGN-N31S/W which i downgraded from vista to XP HOME......ive got all the drivers sorted ive even installed all the untilities

Now my problem is that MY FN keys wouldnt work, however now most of them work apart from the sound shortcuts....sooo

FN+F2 MUTE
FN+f3 DECREASE VOLUME
FN+f4 INCREASE VOLUME

Please could some one give me a step to step detailed guide as to what i should do?

Hi uzzie

Have you tried using the N11S Original Utilities Package..

You can download the Original Utilities Package from Here , once downloaded extract and install in order..

1 SonyUtils DLL
2 Sony Shared Library
3 Vaio Event Service

Once completed then re-boot your vaio.

You may have to do this more than once..

PS have you installed the Sony XP Graphics and Sound drives on your N31S..?
