i have a sony pcg-k115s.my notebook crash .and when I try to restore with the original sony cd..........when it is partitioning c ...it says error ..code 4

I've just been through VAIO-Link and they have no solutions so what I suggest you do is re-build the partitions using fdisk. If you do not know how to use this then do ask.
